AKILAH DASILVA FOUNDATION

The Akilah Dasilva Foundation created, in part, in response to the murder of Akilah Dasilva in Antioch, Tennessee Waffle House Mass Shooting on April 22, 2018. The Foundation’s charitable purposes are to prevent gun violence and other forms of violence and victimization, through education and awareness by creating a culture of engaged youth and adults committed to identifying, intervening, and getting help for individuals who might be at risk of hurting themselves or others, with an emphasis on promoting peace and love as evidence by the artistic endeavors and memories of Akilah Dasilva.
